The New FAI Referees Fees for Amateur Football League Matches as and from 1st August 2007 until 31st July 2009

Major Division Matches only

Referee Match Fee €30. Travel Expenses: €18 Total €48. Payable by each team to the referee €24.

Assistant Referees: Match fee €15; Travel Expenses: €18. Total due to each Assistant Referee. € 33.

Amateur Cup/Matt O'Leary Cup/Maher Cup Semi-final matches.

Referee Match Fee €45. Travel: €18. Total €63. Payable by each team to the referee €31.50

Assistant Referees:. Match Fee: €22.50. Travel: €18.00. Total €40.50 due to each Assistant referee.

All other League and Cup matches within the Amateur Football League

Match Fee: €24. Travel Expenses: €18.. Total €42. Total due to referee by each team €21.

In all Cup Finals, appropriate value trophies will be presented by the League to the officials

Where travel to a venue is outside the urban area i.e. a round trip of more than 25 miles an allowance of 72c per mile is payable instead of standard travel expense allowance, plus the match fee.

Where Referees travel to a venue outside of the Urban Area and the game is not played due to ground or weather conditions half of match fee and full travel expenses to apply.

Games cancelled within the Urban Area and referee and one team turns up fee payable is 50% of the composite fee. The referee should then report the matter in writing to the League within 4 days of the scheduled match.
